On Sunday the 1st of October, our community was rocked as we found out that a gunman had opened fire on a crowd enjoying country music at the Highway 91 concert. Many people died and even more were injured. Within a day we posted #VegasStrong for all to see. Since the event our community has demonstrated that we’re not only connected but that we care. What are neighbors do and experience matters.
The M Hotel hosted a car show where the registration fee, concessions, etc all went to help the victims of this senseless event. While there was only one week to pull it together (Monday to Saturday morning), the word went out to all the car clubs and to their members. The result: There were over 500 vehicles representing nearly every brand of cars and motorcycles that were true classics, daily drivers, modified and highly customized. Frankly, it didn’t matter. It was just great to see so many people turn out in support of our effort to remain #VegasStrong.
